Some Photoshop Fun

So I believe through twitter, I stumbled upon the Edit Me Challenge. I believe it was through following Hollie, as she's a guest judge this week in the challenge!

But anywho,
it appears to be a photo editing challenge.
Given a base image,
edit it,
share your steps.
And voila!
link up.

So I decided to give it a go. Frankly because, well, I enjoy working in photoshop, and let's see what kind of fun I could have with it!





Okay, so steps.
{all done in photoshop}
Boosted the saturation on the shoes and dress.
Negated the saturation on the rest of the picture.
Added a soft focus action.
Sharpened the image a bit.
Gave it a vignette blur.
added lyrics from Abba's "Slipping through my Fingers"

Edit Me

So we'll see how this goes, see if it gets a bit of enjoyment for someone out there. :)

    I always have fun looking at other edits. It is AMAZING to see the creativity out there, and so much to learn. You brought out so much detail in her pretty pink dress! The selective coloring is such a neat effect, and the added lyrics (the font style and color, too) is a perfect match.

    How interesting! You really did a nice job bringing into focus her pink dress. The blur effect creates a sweet dreamy look...very pretty!

    I really like photoshop editing. According to me it is very enjoyable work for me. I also like your editing you make very cute image of girl.
